Whether you are in the middle of a career change because of company restructuring or downsizing, OR you are considering making a change for yourself, this presentation provides attendees with insights for Navigating SHIFT Creek.
Here’s a little background:
I was enjoying a career managing e-commerce projects at a packaging company when SHIFT Happened. I had only just come back to work in the fall following the birth of my first child, when I was told (on my 29th birthday!) my job was being eliminated. Holy SHIFT!
Fairly quickly, with the help of a career coach, I had a plan and a process to follow to Get My SHIFT Together and not long after, by making connections and networking, I landed in a new role at a great company.
Fifteen years and several more career changes later, I started teaching other business professionals about managing their own career changes, whether they decided it was time to seek out something new, or the company decided for them.
I was fortunate enough to have a career coach who helped me Make SHIFT Happen and I now share my experience with others to help them on their journey.
In this keynote presentation, I share insights from my upcoming book “Navigating SHIFT Creek” and attendees have appreciated the humor, storytelling style, and interactive exercises.
