Virtual Career Networking
Online via Zoom
Find your way! Join me twice a month for an engaging conversation via Zoom with business professionals who are looking to stay connected, share a few laughs, and expand their professional network. Participants have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the group, ask questions and share insights about their career plans, AND learn about topics relevant to their professional growth. Since Covid-19 has kept many of us from attending our regular in-person business networking events, these Virtual Career Networking events have provided a safe and easy way to remain active in this brave new world we are now navigating.
Each meeting is centered around a theme to guide our conversation and also incorporates a discussion on various career-focused topics.
On Thursday, April 22nd we are going to talk about mentoring. What it means to be a mentor - and what it means to be mentored. Traditionally, one might think of someone becoming a mentor when they are the elder of the two people in the relationship. But, many of us in our mid to later careers could use some mentoring from someone who is 10-15 years younger! We'll talk about how you might approach seeking out a mentor, how to plan for your first meeting, and best practices for an ongoing positive experience.
Curious? Good - then this will be a session you don't want to miss.
